Acer palmatum ‘Bi Ho’

Acer palmatum is a striking maple for the winter bark. An excellent companion for the red barked ‘sangokaku’. Leaves: greenish pink to yellow in spring, light green in summer and then yellow in autumn. The wood turns apricot yellow or orange throughout the winter. Ht 4m (13ft). Neutral to acid soil. This is a specialist variety and does need a warm sheltered site.
