Acer japonicum ‘Ruby’

A distinct variety of Full Moon maple. Its leaves emerge black-red, brighten to red in late spring and soften to bronzy green with darker edges in mid to late summer. It gives a spectacular display of oranges, reds and purple in the autumn. Ht 8ft in 10 years. Acid soil. Part shade.
