Simon Shaw Ceramics

Simon studied at Wirral College of Art and Design and Braintree College Essex.
He was then employed in various workshops around the UK, then abroad for several years
Simon returned to his native Merseyside in 1997 where he established his own workshop.
His work is mainly thrown using stoneware clay with Porcelain and raku clay additions. Barium based glazes give a textured matt finish with a colour pallet of Blues, greens and lilacs.
