Ellen Monaghan is an award-winning jeweller creating sculptural pieces from her studio in Cley-next-the-Sea, North Norfolk. Using her signature techniques of folding and forging square wire, she produces distinctive designs inspired by architecture, the human form and the linear patterns found in nature.
Her work is characterised by clean, flowing lines that interact with the body, often accented with carefully selected gemstones. Balancing structure with movement, Ellen’s jewellery explores space, form and adornment in a contemporary and highly individual way.
Artist Statement:
“My rings create lines that guide the eye around the hand to land on colourful jewels set within the design. Earrings play with the space around the ear and neck to create continuous flowing lines that draw the eye.”
