Irish-born artist Clare Flinn is based in Liverpool, and is known for her paintings inspired by the landscapes and places she feels most connected to.
Coming to painting later in life, she began her artistic practice in midlife and went on to complete a Fine Art degree. Her work demonstrates a strong sense of confidence and maturity, with a distinctive approach to capturing atmosphere and place.
Clare’s paintings are characterised by crashing seas, gentle shorelines, and moody, expressive landscapes, created primarily in acrylics and oils. Her use of colour, light, and texture brings depth and movement to each piece, evoking both the drama and tranquillity of the natural world.
