Andrew O’Dell is a highly skilled goldsmith and a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths. He began his career as an apprentice general mounter, developing a strong technical foundation while working on a wide range of commissions for prestigious clients, including royal households and leading London jewellers such as Asprey and Garrard.
Alongside his practical training, he studied at Sir John Cass Jewellery College in London, achieving credits and distinctions in City & Guilds examinations in both craft and advanced levels. He later established his own workshop, undertaking bespoke commissions and contributing to notable projects, including work exhibited at Goldsmiths’ Hall.
Over the course of his career, O’Dell has created an extensive variety of pieces, from finely crafted jewellery to more unusual and innovative designs. His work reflects both technical mastery and a breadth of experience across traditional and contemporary goldsmithing.
