Vigorous and compact growth. Glossy evergreen foliage. Large, semi-double, deep salmon-red flowers. Flws: Feb-May. Ht 2 metres. Thrive in a good acid to neutral soil. Light shade to full sun. Protect flower buds from early morning sunshine after a spring frost. Suitable for pot in cool greenhouse.
