Chionanthus retusus

Chinese fringe tree. Handsome, large shrub or small tree. Snow white flowers are produced on mature trees in abundance. Flws: Jun-Jul. Damson-like fruits. Light green foliage, whitish underneath and turning yellow in autumn. Any reasonable soil. Best in full sun.
