Sambucus nigra f. porphyrophylla ‘Black Tower’

A new introduction with an unusually vertical habit of growth and large, maple like foliage, almost black in colour. Flat heads of pink flws, June followed by black berries. A fine plant as a focus at the back of a mixed border. Ht 6-8ft/1.8-2.4m x spr 3-4ft/0.9-1.2m. Any reasonable soil.
