This is an upright variety with a broadly, spreading habit that forms a conical, small tree over time. Full sun to part shade, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Sheltered site. Shape / size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer. Ht and Spr (after 10 years): 4m x 3m.
