Acer palmatum ‘Seiun-kaku’ is a distinct cultivar, densely foliated like ‘Mikawa Yatsabusa’. An upright small tree with green leaves which turn to yellow-orange and then brilliant red in autumn. Ht 8-10ft (2.4-3m). Acid to neutral soil. Sun/ part shade.
