Calycanthus ‘Venus’

A hybrid of C. chinensis and C. ‘Athens.’ Very Rare and recently introduced. Large ivory yellow buds transform into large, 3-4″ multipetaled white flowers with yellow and purple infusions in the centre. The flws have a wonderful fragrance with aromas of strawberries and melons. Spring flowering with some additional flws being produced throughout the growing season. Ht 8ft.
