Acer palmatum ‘Nicholsonii’ is a shrubby tree with fantastic autumn colouring- yellows, oranges and crimsons. Young leaves olive green/ brown. Ht 8-10ft (2.4-3.0m). Acid to neutral soil. Protect from cold winds. If kept in a bright situation in summer can maintain good colour, if shaded has a green hue.
