‘Huron’ (V.lobophyllum x V.japonicum) is a semi-evergreen, densely branched, multi stemmed shrub. Leathery dull dark green leaves that turn rich purple in late autumn. White flowers occur in rayed cymes containing 250 to 400 florets per inflorescence. Dark red egg-shaped fruits ripen in August and stay until winter. ‘Huron’ has a more egg-shaped leaf than the cultivar, ‘Chippewa’. The glossy dark green foliage remains in good shape throughout the seasons. Native to Japan. Ht 8ft x spr 8ft. Any reasonable soil. Sun/ part shade.
