Syringa ‘Prince Wolkonsky’

Dark magenta lilac flowers, ageing to candyfloss pink in broad but compact panicles. Sweetly fragrant throughout spring when covered in a mass of flowers. Grows as a small tree or bushy upright shrub, reaching 3.5 x 3.5 metres in 20 years. This compact Lilac tree is suitable for small gardens. Sunny position.
