Syringa ‘Carpe Diem’

Vigorous, upright, very branched, deciduous shrub with heart-shaped leaves. Very fragrant, double, light blue-mauve flowers in conical spikes. Flws: April-May. Ht 6-7m (18-21ft). Grow in sun and moist, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Good for back of borders or as specimen plant.
