Styrax japonica ‘Isaai’

An outstanding selection, ‘Issai’ is extremely free flowering and fast growing. It is exceptionally hardy and flowers in great profusion on horizontal branches. A small deciduous tree with a broad canopy. Green leaves turn to yellow in autumn. White flws appear in spring, even on young plants. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. Sheltered site away from cold, drying winds. Ht 10ft x 6ft wide in 10 yrs.
