Rudbeckia fulgida ‘Early Bird Gold’

A compact ‘black-eyed Susan’ with exceptionally long flowering period. Upright stems clad with oblong to lanceolate dark green leaves. A sport from Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ . Bright yellow daisy like flowers (3-4” diameter) with dome-shaped dark brown centre cones, mid-June to October. Ht 2ft. Any reasonable well drained soil, suny position.
