‘Pink flowering cherry’. Prunus ‘Japanese Lantern™’ is a very impressive Japanese flowering cherry. Stunning, densley double frilled flowers with white, pink and green petals that darken as they mature. A medium size, spreading tree. Bronze young leaves turn green with age, good autumn colour. Absolutely stunning in flower! Flws: April. Well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay. These trees have been grown in the ground and potted Nov 2025, please note they will not be fully rooted in their pots until Spring/ Summer 2026 but can be planted straight out through the dormant period.
