Phyllostachys vivax

A choice, hardy, ornamental bamboo. Large, broad leaves giving a bit of a tropical appearance. Its shoots are excellent for eating and are free of bitterness when raw. Ht 10ft+. Excellent for screening. An outstanding variety and exceptionally cold hardy.
