Papaver orient. ‘Central Park’

Compact habit, hairy textured foliage. Erect stout stems with nodding flower buds open to a large lavender purple flowers with dark purple marks at the base of the petals, flws late Spring. Foliage goes dormant after flowering and returns early autumn. Ht 24″ (2ft). Deep, moist but well drained soil. Sun or semi-shade.
