Origanum rotundifolium ‘Amethyst Falls’ is a highly decorative, drought-tolerant ornamental oregano known for its dramatic, cascading clusters of “hop-like” flowers. It is a versatile perennial that excels in hanging baskets, rock gardens, or as a showy ground cover. Produces drooping, pendulous clusters of purple-pink or lavender flowers that emerge from chartreuse (pale green) bracts. As they mature, the bracts turn a striking mauve or pink.
