A dense, upright, shrubby, globose selection of dawn redwood with congested branching and bronze-green deciduous foliage. Ht 10-12 feet (3 to 4 m) tall and wide in 10 years. This cultivar originated as a witch’s broom found around 2010, on one of the wild-collected dawn redwood trees in the genetic conservation collection in Dawes Arboretum, Newark, Ohio. Moist, well drained fertile soil. Sun.
