Malus ‘Red Devil’ M116

Excellent garden variety with scarlet flush. Superb fruity strawberry flavour. Pink juice. Disease resistant. Ideal for all areas. Self fertile. M116- a new rootstock similar to MM106 but produces a slightly smaller tree (although larger than M26). It was developed in the 1960s from MM106 crossed with M27. Ht 3m in 10 years.

These trees have been grown in the ground and potted Jan 2026, please note they will not be fully rooted in their pots until Spring/ Summer 2026 but can be planted straight out through the dormant period.
