Magnolia ‘Peachy’

Magnolia ‘Peachy’ is a fast growing medium sized tree, initially upright in habit but spreading with age. Large, fragrant orange-pink tulip-like flws, creamy white on the inside, open to 20cm wide as the first leaves are starting to unfurl in late April or early May. Full sun to part shade. Best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Sheltered site. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer. Ht and Spr (after 10 years): 4m x 3m.
