Macleaya microphylla ‘Spetchley Ruby’

A vigorous, tall growing perennial for back of the border. Upright stems to over 6 ft tall and spreading underground to form wide clumps. Attractive deeply-lobed blue green leaves. Panicles of tiny, reddish, feathery flws, Jul-Sept followed by red seeds. Does well against a wall on light, warm soil. Sun or part shade.
