Lavatera ‘Ruby Star’

A cross between L. olbia and L. thuringii, ‘Ruby Star’ is a fairly new and superb compact cultivar. A long flowering variety, it produces large flowers with overlapping petals in deep pink with darker veins, Jun-Sept. The semi-evergeen foliage is an attractive grey green. Ht 3-5ft. Sunny position. Well drained soil.
