Cotoneaster microphyllus

Evergreen spreading, dense shrub. Rigid shoots are clothed in small, oval, dark green leaves. Small 5-petalled, white flowers in late spring are followed by spherical, red fruits. Height 1 metre. Spread 2 metres. Requires full sun and dry soil.
