Clematis ‘Little Mermaid’

A Japanese variety flowering twice in the year. ‘Little Mermaid’ produces delightful 4-6” round, salmon pink flws which lighten to icy pink as they mature, sometimes with a hint of purple around the fluffy tuft of yellow stamens in the centres. Flws May-Jun and Aug-Sept. Prefers poart shade. Ht 7ft.
Group 2—Early to midseason flowering cultivars and rebloomers. Prune this group in late winter or early spring. Dead and weak shoots should be removed and the remaining shoots cut back to 6-9 inches above a couple of well-developed buds.
