Aucuba japonica ‘Golden King’ AGM

Similar to ‘crotonifolia’ but with more striking variegation. Evergreen, bushy, dense shrub. Stout, green shoots. Large glossy, dark green leaves, heavily mottled yellow. Small, purplish flws, May. Followed by bright red berries. Male. Ht 5-6ft. Any reasonable soil. Best in part shade.
