New. Amelanchier alnifolia ‘Obelisk’ is a magnificent small, deciduous tree with upright, slender habit. Dark green, almost circular leaves change to yellow in autumn. The stems become a mass of white flws, Apr-May. Edible berries. Ht 3-4metres (9-12ft). Any position or soil type. Excellent in border or as specimen. No need to prune as it forms a compact shape on its own.
