Clumps of strap like leaves topped by large heads of white flws with pale blue edges Jun-Jul. Ht 50cm. Hardy down to -5°C (23°F). Mulch for winter in cold areas. Bring pots into shelter. Moist, fertile, well drained soil. Sunny position.
