Acer palmatum ‘Nakakamado’

A rare variety propagated from an ancient tree in Japan forming a unique contorted umbrella shape with palmate leaves. Weeping, twisting habit with lots of curves, good vigour. Spectaular auumn colour- yellows and oranges. Ht and spr 5-6 ft in height by 6-7 ft in width in 10 years. Stake this tree for an even more dramatic twisting and swooping effect like the original.
