The best food is often the simplest and the freshest, produced with care and generosity. La Casa Verde serves just this, and with style and spirit of Italian al fresco dining.
This is the place where you can sit on a balcony and relax with friends, drink a glass of wine or cup of coffee whilst eating a delicious lunch, what could be nicer?
La Casa Verde dishes are seasonal using fruit and vegetables picked from our organic kitchen garden, which can be found at the bottom end of the nursery.
OPENING TIMES:
We are open 7 days per week throughout the year from 9am until 4:30pm (winter opening hours).
Tea, coffee, cakes and scones are served all day with last orders no later than 4:00 pm (4:30pm during our summer opening hours)
Breakfast is served from 9am – 11:30am
Lunch is served from 12pm-3pm with last orders for coffee and cake at 4:30pm.
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day

Cakes and Scones freshly made daily and served from 9:00 am. We are able to provide a range of gluten-free products from bread to fusilli pasta.
We offer fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit grown in our own organic gardens.

As you will see from this sample menu, our afternoon tea has a wonderful selection of savoury morsels to tempt you, as well as delicious sweet treats, all hand made by our chef and his team.

GROUP BOOKINGS
All group booking MUST please book in advance as we cannot accept any groups with out a booking. Please contact us in advance to ensure we are able to accommodate you

- We are unable to accept coaches parties due to access restrictions and facilities available.
- We require a non refundable deposit of £10 per person and a pre-order of meals one week before.
- Maximum group size is 15 people.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking to allow time for drink orders etc beforehand
- We are able to take a small number of gardening group bookings throughout the year, however, we are unable to accept gardening groups in May and June.
- For gardening groups there is a charge of £5.00 per head, which includes entry into the private chapel and gardens (raising funds for Hospice at Home).

Terms and Conditions
- Use of the La Casa Verde loyalty card, hereafter known as ‘the card’, constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Buy any non-alcoholic hot drink from La Casa Verde to claim one stamp on the card. Once you have collected nine stamps on one card, you can claim your tenth regular hot drink free.
- The card must be presented at time of purchase, both for acquiring stamps and when redeeming the full card.
- No photocopies accepted.
- The card cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and has no cash or transferrable value.
- By claiming your free drink, you also agree to provide us with your details for our mailing list.
- We reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions of the operation of the scheme. If we decide to do so, we will seek to let you know in reasonable time by displaying notices in the restaurant and on our website.
