Corylus avellana ‘Red Majestic’ AGM

A striking red leaved form of the popular contorted hazel. Released for the first time in 2004. Deciduous, bushy shrub. Curiously twisted shoots and broad, sharply toothed, red leaves. Pendent, pink/red catkins. Very slow growing. Ht 10ft. Full sun and well-drained soil. Excellent as a specimen shrub.
