Fritillaria persica ‘Blue Brothers’

A unusual form of Fritillaria persica with tall spires of pendulous bells in deep purple, almost black. Prefers a sunny warm position in the garden. Flowering in April. Good for cut flowers. Plant the bulb sideways to prevent rotting and mix sand or grit into the planting hole. Good for naturalizing. Ht 80-100cm..
