Elaeagnus x ebbingei ‘Maryline

A lovely new variety of Oleaster with striking creamy leaves streaked with irregular light green and a darker green edging. Silvery new growth. A more compact variety growing to no more than 2 metres high and wide if left untrimmed.An excellent evergeen for the mixed shrub border or hedging plant.
For hedging use 3-4 plants per metre. Full sun or part shade. Most soils are suitable although they dont like to be waterlogged. This is a great plant for coastal gardens and windy exposed sites, but not very cold situations which may cause some damage to the foliage during winter.
