Cotoneaster apiculatus

Charming shrub with a dense habit, forming hummock-like mounds. Pretty little red flowers bloom in April-May followed by the striking orange-red fruit in September. Foliage turns a beautiful coppery-purple in the Autumn. Ht; 0.7m. Prefers well drained soil & a sunny spot. Wind-hardy and good in coastal areas. Deciduous.
