A lovely variety of Blackberry with ornamental leaves which are tinged deep red in autumn. Semi-evergreen. Blackberries are produced in abundance in late August – September – and can even continue on until October. Semi-vigorous in habit so allow 6 feet (1.8 metres) between plants. Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects. Self Fertile. Plant 6 feet (1.8 metres) apart. Best grown in organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Intolerant of wet soils.
