An outstanding new variety, similar to Photinia Red Robin, but with very attractive, upright, finely toothed, undulating, rich coppery purple, shiny, evergreen foliage. The new foliage is bright coppery slowly fading through chocolate to green. Panicles of white flws, late spring contrast well against the foliage. Naturally a dense, well branched plant so is ideal for hedging or to be grown as a specimen plant. Any reasonable well drained soil in sun or partial shade. Protect from cold winds until established. HEDGE Trim in spring. Plant 2-3ft (60-90cm) apart or grow as shrub 8ft x 6ft (2.4m x 1.8m).
