Calycanthus ‘White Dress’

A new variety with an irregular, bushy, upright habit, growing up to 2-3 m in height. Leaves are large, shiny, dark green. Very decorative, white flowers, June-July. Ht 8ft. Full sun or light dappled shade. Moist but well drained fertile soil. Not suitable for shallow chalky soils. Protect from cold winds. Young specimens require winter protection, older ones are fully frost-proof. Collector’s variety.
