Berberis gagnepainii lanceifolia

Berberis gagnepainii lanceifolia is a small but dense evergreen shrub which can be used for hedging. In summer the linear evergeen leaves are dark green with spiny margins up to 10cm long. In Autumn the leaves turna beautifiul red. In April-May it has clusters of golden yellow flowers followed by black fruits. It is a neat and attractive garden shub suited for sun or shade.
