A spectacular variety for leaf colour. Vase-shaped shrub. Ht upto 13ft (3.9m). Finely lobed leaves, dull purple in spring, turning dark green with a reddish hue, and finally golden in autumn. Excellent as pot specimen. Acid soil. Part shade or sun.
